Home
For a lot of small business owners, workers, and so many of our loved ones and neighbors, home and work are incredibly woven together. As everyday life pivots and slows down a little over these next few weeks, may we find ways to continue to support one another.
That can look different for all of us.
It could be buying some of our food from cafes and restaurants that are providing to-go and ready-made meals. It might be buying gift cards from businesses, buying music and merchandise, supporting our favorite artists through their various platforms, or ordering from a business that has curbside pick-up or delivery. We can donate to non-profits, many of whom could use extra assistance during this time.
There are things we can do that don’t cost us anything financially. Simple things like listening to artists and podcasts on streaming services to watching your favorite YouTuber. Or liking a business’s social media pages and leaving a review on Google, Yelp, Trip Advisor, or Facebook.
Finally, connect with loved ones. Check on neighbors. Whether it’s through a text, a call, or the next TikToc challenge (for the record, there isn’t an app that can make me look good at dancing).
Remember, while we may not be close right now, we’re still together.
It’s nothing fancy, but I wanted to highlight a few friends and businesses.
Thanks for checking.
Be safe. Be well.
