I’m still pinching myself over this.

If you know me, you know I enjoy coffee. I’m happily in charge of coffee on family vacations and get-togethers. I may or may not have a cupboard in our kitchen dedicated to coffee and equipment…and a travel kit in my office.

I like coffee.

So when Populace Coffee was seeking small businesses to partner and support with their latest Small Business Support initiative, I jumped at the chance. By purchasing a bag of coffee, you’re supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs near and far. On top of splitting the purchase price with Kennedy Picture Co., Populace utilizes great resources to make sure coffee farmers can thrive. It’s a win-win-win.

Populace is a Michigan Micro-Roaster of specialty coffees with cafes in Bay City, Detroit, and Petoskey, Michigan.

About the Coffee

The coffee inside of the Support Bag is our House Blend. This blend has been with us since the beginning and has been a staple in most of our partners cafe's. It is a blend of coffees from Guatemala and Colombia. We could consider this a medium roast and is a nice chocolate/caramel/cherry cup. This coffee is versatile. You can pull a shot, make an ol' fashioned pot, or slowly pour water over a bed of grounds in a beautiful chemex/v60/kalita. Enjoy!
